Evan: I'm on OS X; there's an installer which worked fine but it kept crashing on startup. resetting to factory settings fixed that but now it's been "starting" for like 12 hours - I think it's just allocating a bunch of space for images and I just have to wait because my disk is slow.
so tl;dr it's in progress! should be okay soon.
