I'm really enjoying these. Just listened to the third this morning; looking forward to this one.
I've experimented with a lot of systems like this over the years - at one point I had a password-protected Tumblr which I liked because Tumblr has a feature where you can call a number and it shows up as an audio post. It's always easier to do audio, I think, since you can just ramble more. In eighth grade a friend and I had a vlog which was a lot of fun too, and honestly I've wanted to start vlogging again for years. But it just takes so much time :/
@Evan Prodromou yeah honestly, out of all the things I ever tried, it was easiest when it involved my phone. I used to call Tumblr while walking my dog.
There was a tiny service called Peabrain which I loved. I eventually moved away from it cause it wasn't self-hosted (and sure enough, it went down for like a year; I'm surprised it's back up), but I started to write a replacement before I switched again to a paper journal.
